What this is

TooGoodToThrow is a place to give things away to people near you, for free. We are not a party to any handover: the two members arrange it between themselves, and what changes hands is their responsibility.

Using it

• You must be 16 or older.
• Everything listed must be free. Asking for payment is not allowed.
• List only what you own and are entitled to give away.
• Use your own photos of the actual item.

What may not be given away

Weapons, drugs, medicines, live animals, stolen goods, counterfeits, recalled or unsafe products, anything requiring a licence to transfer, and anything else illegal in Belgium.

Behaviour

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. Harassment, hate speech, sexual content, threats, scams and spam all result in removal, and repeat or serious cases in a permanent ban.

Every listing and every member can be reported from inside the app, and any member can be blocked, which hides their items and stops messages in both directions. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It removes your listings, messages, reviews and photos permanently.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We do not inspect items, we do not guarantee that anyone turns up, and we are not responsible for what an item turns out to be. Meet in a way you are comfortable with, and use your judgement.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you carry on using it.
